A cool, wet spring with rain non-stop from mid-July until October. The harvest was put off due to 35 days of unbroken precipitation (209 mm) i.e. twice as much as usual... Attempts were made to pick on the 26th of October, but the rain did not let up and a window of opportunity in December came too late in the game. Sugar levels never rose, and this vintage is best forgotten.
