Warm weather set in after a rainy, very cold winter, except for a cool wet spell during flowering, which was very spread out as a result. The combination of a rain and tropical heat during the harvest forced pickers to be very careful meticulous. A vintage where sorting was of paramount importance. Not an easy year, but the results are wonderful.
