Château D'Yquem
1932

Very chilly until late July and heavy rainfall until October – conditions hardly propitious to vine growth... There was a brief period of dry and relatively warm weather in early September. This raised hopes, but these were soon dashed because the late-maturing grapes were not ripe enough. The rain in mid-October ended up ruining all efforts to make an acceptable wine, and this is a year without any Château d'Yquem.
