Château D'Yquem
1908
Colder-than-average temperatures prevailed throughout the growing season, with a short warm period in the month of May. This warmth only returned in autumn, and the vintage's prospects improved with it. Three weeks without rain from late September to early October enabled pickers to go out for 16 days in a row. They brought in grapes with excellent sugar levels. A last, very fine pass, took place on about the 15th of October. A beautiful vintage!
