Château D'Yquem
1910
Terrible weather meant that the growth cycle started late this year. The vines were also plagued by coulure, mildew, and grape worms... The rain let up in mid-August and early September, but the grapes were not ready to pick, and the harvest could only start on the 13th of October. Sadly, the rain returned and did not stop for 40 days, which dashed all hope of producing Château d'Yquem.
