Château D'Yquem

A greatly variable year with alternating hot and cold, dry and rainy weather. The sky was very sunny in mid-September, but the grapes were not ready. 156 of rain delayed concentration, and it took until the 10thof October to reach 20°. The fine weather continued, as did picking, but sugar levels fell. In the last analysis, the crop was quite small with only the grapes from one pass going into Château d'Yquem.
