Château D'Yquem

A cool, rainy summer followed by 30 days of rain out of 40 from mid-September to late October. Only the very young, early-ripening vines yielded grapes with 20° potential alcohol, but these were judged not good enough. The few barrels of wine made in 1992 were rejected and so no Yquem was produced this year.
