Château D'Yquem
1933

Hot, dry conditions during much of the growing season except for poor weather in June that upset flowering. The warmth returned thereafter, but then the rain arrived – 157 mm in September. The few dry days were not enough to concentrate the grapes, which did not reach the required minimum degree of sugar. This is a fairly standard Yquem, despite the complexity that might have been provided by a complicated year.
