Château D'Yquem

Cold, dry weather predominated until June and became progressively wetter as the year went on. The harvest stared on the 19th of September and finished on the 14th of October. This took place in 5 passes, almost without rain, but with very cold temperatures and the occasional frost. A combination of drought conditions and cold nevertheless produced a vintage of very high quality that helps to confirm the excellent reputation of wines from this decade.
